These programmes are run by PADI Instructors and Dive masters, but participants will not receive any qualification from PADI.

A) Discover SCUBA Diving

Outline: This allows divers that are not yet qualified to try Scuba diving. They will get to experience the joys of diving without any of the study. Maximum allowable depth is 12 M but we usually take them to about 5M on the first dive. There is no qualification given to the participant.

Prerequisites: Must be 10 years Old.

Length of Course: 2 hours.

Overview: 30 minutes brief given. Approx 15 mins in shallow water. 30 – 40 minutes dive.

Materials included: Rental of all equipment required for the experience.

Cost: RM 240

Sales notes: This programme is very popular as it is open to everyone. Even those that have never dived before. If they enjoy the experience they can credit it towards the SCUBA Diver or Open Water Diver courses. Stress they will actually diving and get to see all the fish and coral. We often refer to this programme simply as “DSD”
